Birds of the Hindmarsh River Trail: Fleurieu Peninsula (Revised Edition)

Birds of the Hindmarsh River Trail  allows both bird enthusiasts and the casual observer to identify over 80 bird species found along the Trail which is located on the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula. The guide features over 100 photographs taken along the trail and also includes illustrations by wildlife artist Wendy Jennings. The second and third chapters highlight some of the threats these birds are facing along the trail as well as several strategies which can be implemented to help conserve Australia’s rich birdlife in their own backyards.

This book includes 134 colour photographs taken along the trail itself along with 30 hand painted illustrations by Wendy Jennings of which 25 are local nests.  Also includes coloured distribution maps for each species.
