This is the true story of James Morrill, shipwrecked in 1846 off the north-east Australian coast before it was colonised.  Floating for 42 days on a raft made from the ship’s mast, this is a harrowing tale of how 7 of the 21 crew and passengers endured the raft journey to land and Morrill became the sole survivor, living with the Australian Aborigines for 17 years.
