Plant Identification in the Arid Zone

OUT OF PRINT.  Plants growing in arid Australia reflect much of the character of this special region.   They provide protection and forage for native animals, protect the often parched soils and support a large portion of the extensive beef and wool industry so vital for Australia.  An understanding of these plants ensures the financial viability and health of pastures now and into the future.  The book is divided into four sections: weeds, grasses, forbs, and trees and shrubs. Colour photographs for each of the 220 plant species will assist in identification of key plant species.
