Tasmanian Flowering Plants: A Field Guide

The full colour portraits together with a thoroughly sound and descriptive text provide a visual feast for the avid plant hunter.  There are more than 1,200 species of flowering plants growing in Tasmania and it is impossible to include them all but this book contains more than 300 species which gives an overview of Tasmania’s floral diversity.

To aid identification, this book is divided into colour sections.  To ID a yellow flower, simply scan through the yellow section.  Of course some flowers  occur in a variety of colours!   The distribution maps with each species have been derived from records in the Natural Values Atlas.

Family names are based on the 2017 Tasmanian Herbarium census.
