Sedges, Rushes & Restiads of the Noosa Biosphere Reserve and Surrounding Regions

This book is intended as a starting point in the study of sedges, rushes and restiads. It is a companion volume to Grasses of the Noosa Biosphere and Surrounding Regions. I t contains full size images of sedges, rushes and restiads encountered around Noosa and the surrounding districts. Some have been introduced and become weedy.  The specimens have been pressed, dried, identified by the Queensland Herbarium, mounted and scanned. Photographs provide different views and magnifications to assist with identification. Information about grasses has also been added for comparison with sedges, rushes and restiads.
