Plants of Eastern Tasmania’s Coastal Fringe is an easy-to-use plant identification guide. It includes both native plants and common introduced plants or weeds – a combination not found in most plant guides.

Whilst the focus of the book is on Tasmania’s East Coast, many of the plants depicted can be found all around the Tasmanian coast.

The plants in this book are adapted to coastal conditions such as salty soil, winds and spray. Some are only found on, or close to, the coast. It also includes many plants that occur in other environments but which can tolerate coastal conditions to a greater or lesser degree.
