Tasmanian Raptors and the Raptor Refuge

This book is a guide to Tasmania’s birds of prey and the work of Raptor Refuge to protect them.  Tasmania has twelve raptor species that routinely breed there plus one species and two subspecies that are endemic.  Currently there are four threatened raptors in Tamania – Tasmanian Wedge-tailed Eagle, White-bellied Sea-eagle, Grey Goshawk and Tasmanian Masked Owl.

This is a working refuge where injured and sick birds of prey are rehabilitated for return to the wild.
