A Guide to Bird Habitats in New South Wales

This guide was originally formulated for use by the NSW Bird Atlassers but has since become available to those seeking bird habitats in NSW and the ACT.  For the purposes of this guide, a habitat is considered to be a situation where either a group of plant species or a s structural unit of vegetation or lndscape is relatively univeform thus providing the nudds of a suite of bird species including shelter, perching and feeding substrates, food sources and nesting and roosting sites.  This book is very useful to all those people interested in the the natural environment and to better appreciate the connection between birds and habitats.
